A JOBBING ARTIST FROM NORTH YORSHIRE

I PAINT ATMOSPHERIC TOWNSCAPES AND LANDSCAPES with PEOPLE in the beautiful medium of  WATERCOLOUR (put yourself in the picture)

I have drawn and painted from a very early age, but it wasn’t until the 1980s that I became hooked on the transparent luminosity of watercolour. Although it’s thee most challenging of mediums, I have specialised in watercolour ever since.

Whilst living in Wales during the 1980s – 90s I was invited to hold a solo evening preview exhibition  by the Nolton Gallery in Mid Glamorgan, who subsequently represented me and sold many of my paintings over the years and were instrumental in getting me started as an Artist.

Having moved back to the Northeast some years ago, I now work from my studio at East Cowton in North Yorkshire and have paintings in collections around the UK and as far afield as the USA and Australia.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN MAKING ART VERY AFFORDABLE, AS MY MOTIVATION IS THE HOPE THAT MY PAINTINGS BRING THE SAME PLEASURE TO THE PURCHASER AS I HAD PAINTING THEM.
